Artist’Statement
Engaging in the contradictions of life itself, modern challenging ancient, and brittle confronting the resilient. I chose Bronze as a material of longevity in opposition to humanity’s perpetual fragility and brevity. Contemporary experiences, expressed through juxtaposition of hard facts and lyrical prose verdantly fuse the two. A prevailing sense of motion, wind and water permeates my artwork, both an observation of the world in continual change , while also reflecting my personal cultural experiences , culminated through overseas travels.
